Denison, Texas -- Natalie Clountz Bauman will present The James-Younger “Gang” in Grayson County, a look at Jesse and Frank James, Cole Younger, and other members of Quantrill’s Raiders from the Civil War, with special emphasis on their activities and connections in Grayson County.

Denison Genealogical Society monthly meeting is slated for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Community Room, Frontier Village, Loy Lake Park, 111 RC Vaughan Road, Denison, Texas.

About the Speaker

Natalie Clountz Bauman is a Grayson County author, local historian, speaker, and former historical columnist for the Pottsboro Sun. She has written numerous books on Grayson County history and Bible lessons, and she frequently shares local history through presentations, living history demonstrations, and community programs. Her work reflects a deep love for preserving the stories of Grayson County and encouraging others to keep learning, researching, and sharing history and doing all of this while persevering through numerous autoimmune diseases with an attitude of, never give up and trust God.
Her books are available through Amazon and at local venues, including Main Street Mall in Denison and the Frontier Village Museum.
