Visitor center to close April 3 as offices relocate temporarily
and redevelopment begins

Bonham, Texas -- The Bonham Economic Development Corporation (BEDCO) announced today a major step in its downtown revitalization efforts as the Bonham Visitor Center prepares for transformation. The current visitor center will officially close on Friday, April 3, as the building enters its next phase supporting ongoing downtown revitalization.

“This project represents an important investment in the future of downtown Bonham,” said BEDCO Executive Director William Myers. “By revitalizing this landmark property, we are reinforcing the economic vitality and cultural heartbeat of our downtown while creating a space that will better serve residents and visitors for years to come.”

The redevelopment is part of a broader effort to position downtown Bonham as a destination for commerce, tourism and community activity. The City of Bonham anticipates reopening the fully transformed Visitor Center in 2027.
