Denison, Texas -- The Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site will host family-oriented Spring Break activities on Thursday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

If you need a break from all your hard work, you are not alone. Find out how Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States had fun and relaxed when his workload became too heavy.

As a boy, “Ike” spent his free time fishing, playing games, and excelling in sports like football and baseball. As an adult, he spent most of his free time golfing. Join us during Spring Break and you can try your hand at the some of the same games that President Eisenhower loved: football, baseball, lawn fishing, golf, and a host of other historic pastimes.

If that’s not enough fun and relaxation, you can take your parents on a nature walk along an abandoned
railway, explore our emerging gardens or go on a scavenger hunt.

Join us for some historic fun and you just might learn something while you are here!
