Yesterday, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cee Dee Lamb surprised two Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas (BGCD) families with everything  needed for a full Thanksgiving meal, personally loading their cars with groceries courtesy of Tom Thumb.

The surprise marked the final play in Lamb’s campaign to raise $100,000 for BGCD before Thanksgiving, an effort inspired by his own experience as a former Club kid.

As food insecurity continues to affect families across North Texas, Boys & Girls Clubs play a vital role in making sure children have access to daily meals, safe spaces and caring mentors.
