Denison, Texas -- Hellen Eller of Denison,Texas is our guest speaker Tuesday evening presenting her program on the life of Clora Larea Bryant, a black lady jazz player. One of many celebrities that lived in the Grayson County area.

Denison native Clora Larea Bryant was the only female trumpeter to perform with Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker. She was also a trumpeter for Josephine Baker and Billie Holiday.

The doors are opened Tuesday October 14, 2025 at Frontier Village in the Judge Vaughan Room located at Loy Lake, Hwy 75 south exit 61. Members, friends and all are welcome to come and take part.
