Loan Officer (Consumer, Non-Real Estate)
Position Overview:
FFCU is seeking a motivated and experienced Loan Officer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years relevant lending experience and a passion for helping our members achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations with members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate loan products.
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Perform comprehensive credit assessments to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Educate members on financial literacy concepts and the loan process, empowering them to make informed decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending products and industry trends to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer lending or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess credit and financial information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a member-focused approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
