Bonham, Texas -- Ever been challenged by a turkey?  Welcomed by a donkey? Imagined yourself riding down the road in a 1947 Fleetwood Cadillac? All this and much, much more held the attention of retired teachers and school personnel as we toured the home and grounds of the Sam Rayburn House in Bonham, TX.

Opting to enjoy a field trip at one of Fannin County's historical treasures, rather than conducting a business meeting, the Fannin County Retired Teachers and School Personnel Association spent a thoroughly delightful hour thanks to our hostess, Margo McCullough. She and her staff welcomed us, and made our visit fun and informative.

The next meeting of the FCRTSPA will be on May 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church Williams Building in Bonham. Come celebrate May with us!
