Denison, Texas -- Daryl Lynn Sartor, 70, was called home Monday, April 15, 2024, in Denton, Texas, at Medical City Hospital surrounded by family.

Daryl was born January 21, 1954 in Denison, Texas, to James Andis and Lorene (Bentley) Sartor. He graduated from Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana in 1972. Daryl’s primary career was working for Raytheon in McKinney, Texas, where he retired.

Daryl loved living life in the fast lane. He had a passion for Corvettes, fast boats, and fishing. Many of his memories involved deep sea fishing trips with his family and friends. Daryl really enjoyed time on the water.  He made lots of memories on Lake Texoma.

Daryl is preceded in death by his father, James Andis Sartor; mother, Lorene (Bentley) Sartor; sisters, Brenda (Sartor) Hansen and husband Jon, Judy Sartor; brother, James Ray Sartor; great-niece, Madison Sartor.

Daryl is survived by; sister-in-law, Chrissie (Lovell) Sartor of Pilot Point; nephews, Jon Neil Hansen and wife Leigh Ann of Lewisville, James Ryan Sartor and wife Kaci of Roanoke; niece, Alicia Rai (Sartor) Neal and husband Kevin of Pilot Point, Great-Nieces and Nephew: Tiffany (Sartor) Matthews and husband Mason, James Daniel Sartor and wife Lily.  He will also be missed by many other dear family members and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas. The family will proceed at a later date with a private burial at Preston Bend Cemetery in Pottsboro, Texas.
