Bonham, Texas -- The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated their members in their community with their annual awards banquet of March 23 at the Roy V Floyd Community Center. The theme of the evening centered around the chamber’s 95th anniversary and their continued growth in the city and county.

Guests enjoyed appetizers and a delicious meal from Cane River Catering as they were serenaded by the jazz quartet, Mulligan’s Revenge. But the highlight of the evening was honoring businesses and individuals that served our community and county above and beyond in 2023.

Mark Sanderson, Executive Director of Open Arms Shelter & Ministry was awarded Public Servant of the Year.

Agriculturalist of the Year went to Fannin Agricultural Association who organized and executed the wonderful Steaks on Main event in April.

Nathan Graham, Human Resources Manager for McCraw Oil & TXB was named Volunteer of the year for his service, not only to our community, but to United Way in Grayson & Fannin counties.

Samantha Lumpkins was named Citizen of the Year for her contributions to the community.

New Business of the Year was awarded to B-Town Nutrition which has become a favorite stop for nutritional teas for city and county residents.

Fannin Pharmacy stood out as Business of the Year with those who nominated them recognizing their superb customer service and the expansion of their new brick and mortar pharmacy building, set to open this spring.

The Chamber was honored to award Roy Floyd with the Legacy Award, noting his remarkable contributions to our community and county throughout the years.
