Bonham, Texas -- The Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site invites homeschool students and groups to attend Homeschool Day on April 17 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. For a $3.00 per person entry fee, visitors can experience games, activities, and information stations from the Sam Rayburn House and the following participants: the Bonham Public Library, Bonham State Park, the Creative Arts Center, a member of the Fannin County 4-H Club, the Fannin County Amateur Radio Club (K5FRC), the Fannin County Museum of History, the Honey Grove Library and Learning Center, the Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site, the Texas High School Bass Association, and a local rancher with small animals.
Partners will offer presentations every 30 minutes from
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Self-guided tours of the Sam Rayburn House are included in the entrance fee, but tours will be on the hour during the event. Space is limited on each tour and reservations are encouraged.
