Fellowship Meal and Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service on March 28, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

Maundy Thursday Tenebrae will be held in the Williams Building Fellowship Hall for a unique and meaningful meal and worship service reflecting on the significance of Christ's new commandment, sharing in fellowship with a simple meal, commemorating the Last Supper, and ending with a solemn Tenebrae service. The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a light meal of finger foods. Please bring something to share, as you are able. For those bringing food, we request you arrive a little earlier to ensure everything is set up smoothly.

Good Friday Prayer Vigil on March 29 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The sanctuary will be open for private prayer and devotions. This time frame was chosen to represent the hours when Christ was on the cross.

Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. with Breakfast to Follow on March 31

An Easter Sunrise Service will be held in the Common Prayer Garden (or in the sanctuary if weather is not suitable) to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and will include a special drama, music, and Scripture readings. Wear comfortable clothing; bring your flashlights and lawn chairs.

All are invited to fellowship and enjoy delicious food at the popular Easter Sunrise Breakfast buffet that will be held in the adjacent Williams Building Fellowship Hall following the Sunrise Service. There will be plenty for all!

Traditional Easter Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary

Sing praises, hear the word preached and receive the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper in a traditional Easter service. Music will be led by the Chancel Choir.

Easter Morning Flowering of the Cross

Flowering of the cross is an ancient Easter tradition. The practice of putting lovely flowers on a rugged cross is a beautiful symbolization of the new life, joy, and hope that emerges from Jesus' death. Please bring wildflowers, purchased flowers (fresh or artificial), or flowers from your garden to place on the cross. The cross will be in the garden at the sunrise service and then moved to the sanctuary before the 11:00 am service.
