The Susan Hicks Memorial 5K and Fun Run on April 27, 2024 benefits Women Rock, Inc. Women Rock is a non-profit organization that provides breast health education, care, and awareness, and offers unique and personalized assistance for obtaining screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds and physician referrals, and gives clients support to recover from breast cancer through fellowship in a healing, nurturing environment.
Funds raised through this event go to provide mammograms, treatment, and services to clients that live in the Texoma area. In 2023, Women Rock provided assistance to 475 clients, fulfilling over1200 requests for services.
Put on your pink and help us paint the streets of Bonham pink as we honor the survivors, give hope to the fighters, and remember those we have lost to this dreaded disease. A virtual option is available for those that want to participate on their own, or would like to help us raise funds, but can’t participate.
