Bonham, Texas -- A large crowd turned out Thursday evening for the latest edition of Creative Arts Center's Music in the Garden free concert series and this show featured a combo that is popular enough to take the chill out of a brisk autumn evening -- the Buzz Andrews Band.
For years, there has been a buzz around North Texas about the Buzz Andrews Band, and as soon as you hear Andrews sing the Willie Nelson classic "Angels Flying Too Close to the Ground," you will know why.

The well-traveled band moved seamlessly from Merle Haggard to Santana to Johnny Cash, which is no small feat.
Andrews's vocals and guitar work were complimented by the impressive saxophone play of Brad Silwood.
Silwood's sax solo on Gary Stewart's "An Empty Glass" was certainly one of many highlights at the Creative Arts Center's latest rendition of its Music in the Garden free concert series.

Guests are welcome to bring their own food and/or drinks. The center will also have some concessions available.
The Uptown Drifters will be closing out this fall concert series on October 24 with their special brand of Texas Swing. There is something very cool about Texas Swing and The Uptown Drifters will absolutely blow the roof off.

Creative Arts Center is located at 200 W. 5th Street in Bonham.
