Honey Grove, Texas -- The historic Honey Grove Square is now lit every evening with lights outlining the roofs of the buildings.

For many years lights were turned on during the Christmas season. However, the electrical system and the lights needed to be upgraded and replaced.
A collaborative effort of the City of Honey Grove, the Honey Grove Industrial Foundation and the Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce has resulted in an upgraded electrical system and LED lights. And instead of having the lights turned on just during the Christmas season, the lights will now shine every evening, complementing the historic light poles and brightening the downtown.

The major expense was born by the Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce and the Honey Grove Industrial Foundation, with a significant contribution by the City of Honey Grove. The City of Honey Grove has committed to maintaining the system going forward.
