Windom, Texas -- The Windom Art School is launching free art demos on the 2nd Saturday of every month, beginning on February, 10.  This month’s topic is gel plate printing, a very popular method of printing unique images at home, as individual works of art or to create papers to be used in collages and other mixed media pieces.

In this demo, you will learn a number of printing techniques using acrylic paint, mediums, and inks, and you will leave with a recipe for making your very own gel plate at home using commonly available materials.

The event is 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Windom Art School (the historic school building in Windom, Texas, 510 Maple Street).
