Bonham, Texas -- Harry Don Easley, 70, of Ennis, TX was born on January 14, 1954 in Dallas, TX to Dencel Easley and Virginia Mae (Sangster) Easley. Mr. Easley passed away Tuesday January 23, 2024 at his residence.

After his railway career, Harry worked for Home Depot in Waxahachie. He was involved in his community, working in the concession stand of Ennis football games, and other events, supporting the Waxahachie Band Boosters. Music was very dear to Harry, and he proudly became a member of the Dallas Symphony playing the French Horn.
Harry was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a Christian who believed in the power of prayer, and helped raise many children, and was helpful to his neighbors and friends.
Harry is survived by his daughters Patricia Ann Simpson and husband Aaron of Little Elm, TX., and Jennifer Becht and husband Todd of Arlington, TX., his grandchildren who he adored, David Simpson, Andrew Simpson, and Viktor Becht.
He is also survived by his siblings, Roger Easley and wife Pat of Willis, TX., Gloria Densmore and husband Jim of Duncanville, TX., Dale Easley and wife Donna of Waxahachie, TX., Nancy Hopson of Pantego, TX., Dennis Easley and wife Freddie of Dallas, TX., and Marie Mueller and husband Steve of Tallahassee, Florida.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Dencel and Virginia Mae Easley, and brother-in-law Robert Hopson.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. January 28, 2024 at the Lamasco Cemetery, with Steve Smith officiating.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
