Windom Art School offering new classes for the New Year

Windom, Texas -- The Windom Art School is celebrating the new year by offering a set of new and exciting classes.  Beginning Jan, 13, Tatiana Murray will be offering watercolor painting for beginners.  The class is for adults (17 and up), and will meet from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday mornings.  
 
 
The cost is $50 per month.  Students will provide their own supplies from a list provided.

Beginning on Jan. 15, Wanda Oliver will be teaching introductory Glass Fusing.  This is a 4-week class with the option of sessions on Monday afternoons 2:00-4:00 p.m. or Monday evenings 6:00-8:00 p.m.   The cost is $100, all supplies included. 
 
 
The class is designed for adults, though teens will be considered on a case by case basis.

Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 1, Wanda Oliver will be teaching a mixed media class.  This class will be an on-going exploration of hand printing, collage, encaustic wax, book arts, etc.  Sessions are offered on Thursday afternoons from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  
 
 
The cost is $20 per session.  The supplies needed to learn each technique introduced are included in the cost, but students should expect to assemble the necessary supplies for their personal projects and ongoing practice.  This class is intended for teens and adults.
