Grayson County, Texas -- Grayson County Office of Emergency Management is excited to announce that registration is open for the 2024 Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training.  This 9-module training is scheduled to meet the second Tuesday of each month February - October 2024 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. 

Participants will learn about Disaster Preparedness, CERT Organization, Disaster Medical Operations, Disaster Psychology, Fire Safety & Utility Controls, Light Search & Rescue, Terrorism and CERT, and will complete the training by participating in a disaster drill to bring together all they have learned in the modules.

This training is free and open to all Grayson County residents 18 and older.  Participants must be 18 years of age as of the graduation date in October and must authorize a criminal background check.  All participants who complete the training will receive a free CERT Go-Kit. YOU MUST REGISTER to participate and space is limited.
