The "Bring Dani C Home" hashtag (#BringDaniCHome) and Facebook group (BringDaniCHome) are being used to spread awareness, centralize the information that is circulating, and to make it easier to keep the community up to date on the search for Danielle.
“We’re encouraging people to print Danielle’s flyer and display it in as many different places as possible, including at their workplace, on their car window, at stores, or even at public events,” said her sister, Kendall Smith.

“We hope that if enough people see her face or have the option to see her face via different outlets (on a flyer, online, on TV) that the right person might see it, and we can get her home quickly and safely. We are concerned about the cold weather and her lack of access to her needed health medication(s).”
The 36-year-old disappeared from the neighborhood of south Bonham in Texas, sometime between Wednesday 12/6) evening and Thursday (12/7) morning. She did not have her wallet, identification or medication, and her phone is not turned on. The clothes she was reportedly seen wearing were reportedly found in various locations on the side of the road near her last seen location.
The family is urging the community of Fannin County, Texas, and neighboring areas to stay aware and alert. The Bonham Police Department has been helpful, compassionate, and is taking the case as seriously as they can. A police report and missing person’s report have been filed. The family acknowledges that narcotics may be involved, but that Danielle is not a danger to others and this behavior is not typical of her.
Danielle is described as a loving, energetic, friendly and caring young woman who helps anyone in need, and whose disappearance is out of character. She is approximately 5’2”, between 70-100 pounds, and has long slightly reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. Due to her cerebral palsy, her teeth are crooked, and she walks with an unusual gait or limp. She also has epilepsy with severe seizures. She has multiple black and grey tattoos on her body, including geometric patterns on her inner right forearm, her sons’ names in a script font on her left outer ankle, a ring tattoo on her left ring finger, a dreamcatcher on her right shoulder/upper arm, a flower on her left collarbone area, and possible tattoos on her back. She may have piercing holes for an eyebrow piercing above her right eye.
The family is urging folks to help considering the cold weather, Danielle’s health conditions, her son’s upcoming birthday, and the upcoming holiday seasons.
Police have urged anyone who sees Danielle to contact +1-903-583-2141 immediately and advise that it is an emergency pertaining to a missing person.
