Discussion items
In a brief discussion regarding regulations for sexually oriented businesses in Fannin County, Fannin County Judge Newt Cunningham reminded residents that the ordinance being developed by the county is on the Fannin County website.
A draft of the county's Recreational Vehicle Park Regulations is also on the county's website.
Judge Cunningham singled out attorney Andy Garner and Di Hopkins, Director of Development Services, for their work developing the ordinances.
A county resident noted that the state allows a $10 fee to be charged for entrance to sexually oriented businesses.
Cunningham said that potential revenue would need to be balanced with the cost to collect and the fee and monitor the funds.
