Sherman's 29th Season of Hot Summer Nights to wrap up with performance by the Gin Blossoms
Sherman, Texas -- The sun may have set on the 2023 version of Sherman's popular free concert series, Hot Summer Nights, but Yogi Berra would remind you, "It ain't over 'til it's over!"
This year's line-up featured the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Tonic, Tommy DeCarlo, Josh Abbott Band, Hinder, Cheap Trick, Randall King, and Pat Green.
But don't put away your lawn chair and blanket just yet because Sherman has planned a fantastic finale for its free concert series -- NOT Summer Nights -- slated for Saturday, October 21, 2023.
The Gin Blossoms burst on the scene in 1992 with "Hey, Jealousy," a Top-25 tune that stands the test of time 31 years later. No one-trick pony, this band went on to turn out bona fide hits like "Found Out About You," "Follow You Down," and "Till I Hear it From You."
The Gin Blossoms will be in downtown Sherman Saturday, October 21, 2023. Lucy Kidd-Key Park is located at 301-373 W. Pecan St. in Sherman TX 75090.
The opening act on October 21 will take the stage at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Gin Blossoms at approximately 7:30 p.m.
And don't forget, the Official After Party for this concert series is always at Old Iron Post, only a few blocks away in downtown Sherman. Bring your friends to catch more from the opening act after the concert ends!
