Honey Grove Elementary earns coveted National Blue Ribbon School honors

Honey Grove, Texas -- Honey Grove Elementary School has earned the prestigious honor of being named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education.The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.

The coveted National Blue Ribbon School award affirms the hard work of students, educators, families, and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content.

Honey Grove Elementary School was one of 29 campuses selected in Texas out of the nearly 9,000 campuses. School representatives will be traveling to Washington D.C. in November to accept this award.
