McKinney, Texas -- An undisputed expert in the fine art of making hit music, Jim Messina’s legacy of musical genius spans five decades, three super groups, a vibrant solo career.
Messina was a member of the influential folk rockers Buffalo Springfield and a founding member of the pioneering country rock band Poco before joining forces with Kenny Loggins to form Loggins & Messina and turning out hits like "Danny's Song," "House at Pooh Corner." and "Your Mama Don't Dance."
