March 18, 1945 – July 9, 2023

Dallas, Texas -- William Henry Wilson, a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, accomplished Commercial Real Estate Broker, and dedicated health and fitness enthusiast was killed tragically and unexpectedly on a routine bike ride July 9, 2023 in Honey Grove, Texas at the age of 78. Born on March 18, 1945 in Northern Ireland, he lived a life with a deep commitment to his beliefs and passions. 
 
More commonly referred to as Henry, Henry graduated from Ambassador College in Bricketwood, England in 1967 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Bible Studies.  After college he worked in Toronto, Ontario and in 1970 he married Lynne, the mother of his two daughters, Tricia and Bonnie, and became a stepdad to Roxann and Dana. He relocated with his family of six to Dallas, Texas in 1979 where he remained until his devastating death. 
 
A man known to carry strong principles, over the course of 50 years, he was an avid church goer.

Henry was a lover of music, with a focus on the Classical genre, favoring the works of Beethoven, Chopin, and Mozart. He was also known for his quick wit and sharp intellect which were traits that helped build 30 years of success as a Real Estate Broker in Dallas, TX. 
 
He was a lively conversationalist, took pride in his classic Mercedes cars, and passionately prioritized his health focusing on a holistic lifestyle including bike riding and organic foods. 
Henry will be remembered for his zest for life, attention to detail and adventurous spirit. 
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Jane Wilson, brother Dennis Wilson of Sydney, Australia, and his stepdaughter Roxann Smith. 
 
He is survived by his loving daughters: Tricia Boyer, Bonnie Gist (Tyler), and stepson Dana Smith. Grandchildren: Ian Wilson (JoElle), Jacob Boyer (Julia), Samuel Boyer (Lena), Bradley Boyer, Lita Gist, and Zachary Boyer, as well as 3 great-grandchildren and sister: Jennifer Banfield
 
A private family graveside service is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help assist with the burial and legal expenses incurred due to this untimely, heartbreaking death.
