Virtual classes to help reduce outdoor watering
& provide for sustainable landscape

Lewisville, Texas -- Spring is just around the corner, and many residents will soon begin preparing their landscape for the growing season - - improving their soil, selecting plants to install, fertilizing turfgrass and checking the sprinkler system. For first-time homeowners or those new to Texas, knowing how to operate a sprinkler system and care for a lawn effectively is no easy task.

Upper Trinity Regional Water District is hosting a series of “Water Talks” about proper lawn care, selecting native plants for a beautiful landscape and sprinkler system operation and maintenance.  These virtual “Water Talks” will help residents not waste water and save money!  Experts from the Denton County Master Gardeners, Native Plant Society of Texas, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Dallas, and Upper Trinity Regional Water District will lead the “Water Talks”.

More information and registration can be found on Upper Trinity’s website at https://www.utrwd.com/newsroom/upcoming-events
