This year's competition will include "Spirit" points - these are points that can be earned by congeniality/ spirit gifts or trinkets for the other school districts in the competition, involving/ outreach other student groups and other campuses in our district, involving/ outreach members or groups from our community, etc. If you have any ideas or would like to make posters, signs, video messages, marquis signs of encouragement or other methods of showing support and encouragement -please let me know. If you do, please take photos of the process/ results involving students and staff so that the Robotics Team can document in their Team Notebook in order to gain those points. We would greatly appreciate it!
There will be around 30 other participants in the contest, even some 6A size schools (McKinney, Melissa, Allen, Pottsboro, Denison...etc.) ! We will have a concession stand and hopefully, some food truck participation. The actual competition opens at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Bonham High School! Bring your noisemakers and purple spirit wear!
This is a very special and significant year for the Warrior Robotics team. A large percentage of this year's team began taking Robotics in the 3rd grade Gifted and Talented program at Finley-Oates Elementary School and stayed with it! We need to pull together and continue the success of the program for years to come.

As you know, several of our BHS Robotics Alumni have gone on to study Civil and Mechanical Engineering at State Schools like the University of Texas-Austin and Texas Tech University in Lubbock! This is a GREAT program and we are so proud to be a part of it!
