Greenville, Texas -- This summer the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum is bringing back its popular summer camp program.  This year’s program will be called Camp Lone Star and will focus on what life was like during the wild and early days of Texas.  All of the arts and crafts, games, songs and demonstrations will relate to the theme.  For example, some of the activities will include making the Alamo, creating a covered wagon, becoming an explorer and learn about brands and making soap.  These are just some of the activities that will be taking place during the program.

The week long camp program will be for 6-10 year olds from 9:00-12:00.  The session will be from July 19-23  and July 26-30 and will cost $60 per student.  A maximum of fifteen children will be accepted in the program so please call (903) 450-4502 to register your child as we are filling up quickly.  The museum is located at 600 IH-30 East in Greenville, TX.
