Petty, Texas -- The Hickory Grove Cemetery Association is excited to announce that Mrs. Ruby Whitten, resident of Honey Grove and former board member of the Association, will be the guest speaker for the Memorial Day activities Saturday, May 28, 10:00 a.m. in the cemetery pavilion.

Mr. Monte Ashcraft will play "Taps" for the flag-raising ceremony.  Hickory Grove Cemetery is located south of Petty, and can be accessed by exiting Hwy 82 onto FM 137 south for about four miles.

Snacks and water will be available.  We encourage as many as possible to attend what we believe will be a memorable occasion.
