The 2022 senior class was invited to visit http://PinkImpAct.pink to apply and submit an essay titled “How Breast Cancer Has Affected My Life”. The scholarships awarded can go toward a degree plan or a vocational college.
“My children were both in high school at the time of my diagnosis. I had the financial battle of finding the money for their college education but, thanks to the help of scholarships, we made it happen! Pink ImpAct created a scholarship of our own to provide other survivors the same blessing and opportunity,” said Sherry Thompson, Pink ImpAct Founder.
Callie Blankenship of Van Alstyne, TX, Jett Carroll and Taylor Hayes of Pottsboro, TX, Sophia Huffman of Denison, TX, Jayden Duplessis of Howe, TX, Callie Marie Vannurden of Royalton, MN, and Trinity Enrique of Sherman, TX have felt the devastating effects of breast cancer in their families but are finding ways to fulfill their dreams by continuing their education after high school.
