Honey Grove, Texas -- Are you interested in ancestry research or building your family tree? Maybe you're looking to find interesting ancestors and learn their stories, or teach your children or grandchildren about your family's culture and heritage. Whether you're new to genealogy or have dabbled in it a bit, the Honey Grove Library & Learning Center will be offering a great opportunity for adult patrons this month, "Genealogy Basics." This will be a one-time course held Tuesday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m.

This class is geared for those looking to find out more about their ancestors and family heritage and don't know where to start, but isn't solely for beginners! Many resources, both online and in print, will be shared, as well as tips and strategies to help more experienced researchers. If there is interest for continued or more advanced classes, our expert instructors can hold additional classes in the future.
Visit the library's website, honeygrovelibrary.org, to register! This course is offered free to the public, but spaces are limited.
