McKinney, Texas -- Three weird sisters meet upon a heath and deliver a set of prophecies That could change the course of history in YAG’s annual Shakespeare: Macbeth

In this dark and rugged version of the play, the world is inhabited by cavemen warriors, ruthless sabertooth tigers, and bone-chilling witches.

Eleanor McCalpin & Kenneth McCalpin

After a great battle pinning the noble Macbeth and fellow warrior Banquo against a terrifying sabertooth tiger, The men find themselves upon a heath shrouded in mystery and inhabited by three weird sisters.

These sisters deliver a great prophecy to Macbeth, telling him that he shall become the Thane of Cawdor, as well as King.

Macbeth and Banquo treat this news as a bout of shared hysteria until piece by piece the witches' prophecies begin to come true and Macbeth is given the title “Thane of Cawdor”.

As Macbeth begins to believe in the sisters’ predictions he also becomes desperate to secure his place as king of the tribe, even if that means murdering the current rightful ruler, Duncan…
