Savoy, Texas -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets defeated the Savoy Lady Cardinals in straight sets Tuesday evening.

Dodd City posted wins of 25-7, 25-11 and 25-11.

Ali Preas put down five kills to lead the Lady Hornets on offense and also had two blocks to lead in that category, as well.

Lindsey Mauppin finished with three kills, while Camryn McCarley, Kylee Graves and Tori Dotson all had a pair of kills.

Kayden McCarley and Dotson both slipped four aces through the Savoy defense.

Dodd City will host Collinsville on Friday.
