Savoy, Texas -- The Savoy Cardinals UIL Academic teams brought home multiple medals this past weekend from the Regional UIL competition in Waxahachie. Eight students from Savoy High School competed and three brought back four medals total.

These students have made Savoy proud with their diligence and perseverance throughout these competitions. The UIL State competition will take place virtually this year on May 1st and May 25th. Good luck to Mavrick Walker as he competes in Social Studies at Princeton High School on May 1st. Good luck to Elise Popowski as she competes in Prose Interpretation on May 25th.
