Paris, Texas -- Wolfe City sophomore quarterback Tony Jones ran for one touchdown and threw for another TD in a 13-7 win on the road against the Class 3A Chisum Mustangs.

Jones carried the ball 17 times for 84 yards and completed 4-of-5 passes for 69 yards.

Senior running back Jaren Brummett was another workhorse for the Wolves, with 77 yards on 15 rushes.

Corey Vaughn had four carries for 21 yards and Josh Colvert rushed twice for four yards.

The Wolves finished the night with 186 yards on the ground.

Cole Salisbury hauled in a pair of passes for 31 yards and one touchdown, Logan Lankford caught one pass for 33 yards and Colvert was on the receiving end of one pass for five yards.

Meanwhile, a stingy Wolfe City defense was holding Chisum to 129 yards of total offense.

Wolfe City (1-1) will be on the road Friday against another Class 3A opponent, Prairiland (2-0).
