The New Hope Cemetery Board of Directors recently met to make a difficult decision about whether or not to have the annual Homecoming lunch and business meeting. The Board decided that because the COVID-19 pandemic is still active in this area that the meeting for 2020 should be canceled out of concern for everyone’s health and safety.

Although we will not be meeting face to face this year, the cemetery continues with its usual expenses though out the year to keep it mowed, maintained and looking nice. This year we have had some additional expenses attempting to eliminate some of the weeds and grass that are difficult to get to with lawnmower/weed eater.

The Cemetery depends on your donations as much or more than ever. Please also pass this information to family and friends of New Hope Cemetery who may not receive a letter.

Feel free to visit the cemetery at any time. Our hope and plan are to be able to get back to our annual Homecoming in September 2021.
