Bonham, Texas -- Want to make sure downtown Bonham looks its very best for residents and visitors, alike?

A group of volunteers is organizing a clean-up day Saturday, September 5 on the Bonham Square.

Volunteers will meet at 8:00 a.m. on the west side of the square in front of FanninLand, which is located at 411 North Main Street in Bonham.

Please bring gloves, brooms, blowers, trash bags and cleaning supplies. 

The clean-up is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Let’s help keep Bonham clean!

"Maybe this will help make a difference and I hope we have a lot of participants," said organizer, Jeri Lea Johnson. "It truly takes a village!"

She added that this would be a wonderful opportunity for clubs and organizations; the downtown clean-up would also benefit from the involvement of students who need service hours.
