141st Annual Leonard Picnic and Parade set July 16-18

Leonard, Texas -- Mark your calendar for three days of live music, food trucks, a Jeep Show, vendors, wineries, a 5K, kids activities, the 9th Annual Leonard Sports Association Cornhole Tournament, a parade Saturday morning on July 18 and a fireworks show that night at 10:00 p.m.

Leonard City Park will be the center of activities for the 141st Annual Leonard Picnic and Parade.

The Miss Leonard Picnic Pageant gets a head start on July 12-13. Open to all Leonard residents and surrounding communities, the pageant is open for ages 0-18. There will be several age categories and the Miss Teen winner picks up a $200 scholarship.

The Buzz Andrews Band takes the stage Thursday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, July 17, there will be two bands, beginning with Sabine the Band at 6:00 p.m. Local favorites The Blandelles take over at 8:00 p.m.

Live music is scheduled for much of the day on Saturday, July 18. 78 Live kicks it off at noon, followed by Bois d'Arc Red at 2:00 p.m. At 4:00 p.m., No Town hits the stage, with the Zane Dockery Band up next at 6:00 p.m. Headlining the 141st Annual Leonard Picnic and Parade will be Eleven Hundred Springs at 8:00 p.m. 

The fireworks extravaganza will light up the sky at 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
