Honey Grove, Texas -- Demetria Pruitt put up a game-high 20 points to lead the Honey Grove Lady Warriors to a 23-point win over the Blue Ridge Lady Tigers.

Blue Ridge only trailed 9-8 after the first quarter, but a 19-4 run by Honey Grove in the second period gave the Lady Warriors a 28-12 cushion at the half.

Honey Grove continued to distance Blue Ridge in the third period en route to a 57-34 victory.

Along with Pruitt's big night, Kenzi Phipps and Maddie Cason both knocked down nine points, Allie Towery scored six, Nicole Briscoe finished with five points, while Re'Onna Finney, Shakira Cooper, Aniyah Smith and Azia Brigham all pitched in two points apiece.

For Blue Ridge, Taylor Langwell put up 13 points, Kylie Mathews and Abigail Jimenez  both scored six, Gracie Pulliam finished with five points, Christina Dauster dropped in three points and Abigail Sullivan hit a free throw.
