 Fannin County, Texas -- The deadline for candidates to file for the March 3 primary election was Monday, December 9, 2019.

All Fannin County candidates who have filed will be listed alphabetically.

There are three candidates running for Fannin County Sheriff:

Mark Daniel
Mark Johnson
Billy Kennedy

Four candidates are vying for Fannin County Pct. 1 Commissioner:

Ronnie Ball
Edwina Lane
Cecil Gower Lester
Dale McQueen

Three candidates have filed for Fannin County Pct. 3 Commissioner:

Milton Glenn
Jerry Magness
Micky Shepherd

Two candidates will be on the ballot for Fannin County Constable, Pct. 1:

Tiger Baxter
Paul Holt

Three candidates are vying for the position of Fannin County Constable, Pct. 2:

Jimmy Helms
Christopher Kitts
J.R. Strickland

Gail Young is running unopposed for Fannin County Tax Assessor-Collector.

Kevin Mayberry is running unopposed for the position of Fannin County Constable, Pct. 3.

While no Democrats filed for the March primary, retired English and journalism teacher Brenda Davis from Telephone, Texas is running for the State Board of Education, Place 9. 

Bill Roberts is running for Fannin County Democratic Chair.
