Detroit, Texas -- Mollie Hooten poured in 18 points to help the Ector Lady Eagles pick up road win against Detroit, 53-42.

Ector had a two point lead, 13-11, after the first period and the Lady Eagles were up 29-18 at halftime. Ector turned back a late rally to post an 11-point victory.

In addition to the big night by Molly Hooten, Elsi Hooten knocked down nine points, Chelsi Petty put up eight points, Riley Evans finished with five points, Mary Salazar scored four and Jordyn Blakey had three points.

Ector is back in action Thursday at the Sulphur Bluff Tournament.
