Anna, Texas -- Betty Jane Rollins was born May 6, 1941 in Fletcher Oklahoma to Herman and Jewel Head. They moved to McKinney, Texas a short time later where she attended and graduated from McKinney High School. She married Jerry Rollins, of Anna, in 1959 and they had 3 children, Angie Toles of Van Alstyne, Denny Rollins of Denison and Brent Rollins of Anna. They had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She had a very long career with Collin County government and retired from the Sheriff’s Department. She shared the last 22 years of her life with her partner, George Cooper. They enjoyed many years in East Texas at their lake house.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Rollins, her mother and father and five siblings.
