Tommie was born on August 26, 1932 in Dodd City, Texas the daughter of Everett Hershel Grisham and Ruby Dee Gilbreath Grisham.  She was a graduate of Dodd City High School and married Billy Joe Eaton on August 9, 1958 in Dodd City and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2012.  She was a member of the Dodd City Baptist Church and was formerly a member of Ravenna Baptist Church for 40 years.  She worked for KFYN Radio Station for a number of years and was a deputy in the District Clerk’s Office for 9 years and was a District Clerk for 6 years, retiring in 1998.  She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and gave a quilt to the Dodd City Lions Club each year to raffle off at the Fannin County Fair.  She had the privilege of meeting Mr. Sam Rayburn in person and that was a great experience for her.  Tommie was kindhearted and loving.  She was preceded in death by her sister Gretelle Ekvall.

She is survived by her two sons; David Eaton and Ken Eaton, both of Ravenna.
Niece, Helen Roithner, and nephews; Richard Ekvall and Craig Eaton.
