Bonham, Texas -- The monthly Art on the Town Painting Party for December at the Creative Arts Center will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, December 5 and the project is Christmas ornaments. Those who come are asked to bring a beverage of their choice and finger food to share.

The cost is $25 and each participant will receive 3 ornaments to paint/decorate. A few demonstrations will be given on painting ideas. This Art on the Town is the final art party for 2019 but on January 16, a whole new year of art parties will begin.

During #GivingTuesday week beginning Tuesday, December 3, there are many activities to celebrate the season and support the Creative Arts Center. This ornament painting party is part of the fun. On "Fabulous Friday" - the day after the party - guests are invited to bring their fabulous hand-decorated or created Christmas ornaments in for judging. Donate them to the center for them to sell if you wish, and the ornament that is the most fabulous will win a prize at noon Saturday, December 7 during the Sweets, Spirits & Sparkles Grand Bazaar from 9 to 2. On that day, artists and artisans from the local area will be on hand for Christmas Shopping of the most amazing kind. Sip champagne and purchase gifts for virtually everyone on your Christmas list.
