The Savoy Cardinal UIL Academic team brought home gold from the State Academic contest in Austin this past weekend.  Eight students from Savoy High School competed.  Three won individual medals and one team medaled.   

The SHS Journalism team won the 1^st place State Journalism Team championship.  

Students received the following awards:

Feature Writing –

News Writing –
