DURANT, OK — First United Bank® would like to introduce Susan Brown as the new Community Bank President of Pottsboro, Texas. In this role, she will be responsible for providing financial solutions to the community through both retail and commercial lines of business and providing supervision and direction for all community bank personnel.
Brown began working at American Bank of Texas (now First United Bank) nearly 24 years ago. She has previously served as a Commercial Loan Assistant, Commercial Loan Officer, and Financial Center Manager. She worked in the Texoma area for 11 years before moving to the Texas Hill Country and working at two of the bank’s branches there. She shared, “I'm excited to be back in the North Texas area! I feel blessed to be with such a great group of people at our community bank and look forward to meeting our customers in the Pottsboro area.”
Brown and her husband, Jay, have been married for 27 years. They have three children – Chad, Jessica, and Ryan, and four grandchildren – Emerson, Weston, Rhys, and Henley. Outside of the bank she enjoys reading, hiking, going snow skiing with her family, playing with her grandchildren, and going to concerts.
Brown said the best part of her job is “developing long lasting relationships with my bank family and customers, being a part of the community, and assisting our customers with the resources that our organization provides to create a positive and healthy lifestyle.”
