Bonham, Texas -- I.W. Evans PTO and KFYN 1420am/95.7fm would like to invite the community to attend a public forum with the Bonham ISD Board of Trustees candidates and the Bonham City Council candidates.

I.W. Evans PTO and KFYN 1420am/95.7fm organized this event in order to give the candidates an opportunity to get their message out to the voters and simultaneously help the voters make an informed decision at the polls.

Each candidate will be given the opportunity for a one-minute introduction and will receive five questions; they will have three minutes to respond.

Once these questions are complete, questions submitted by audience members will be addressed with the moderator.

Bonham ISD Board of Trustee candidates:

Place 3, incumbent Sean Floyd will be challenged by Jason Walker

Place 4, incumbent Jason Fox will be challenged by Clint Hemby

Place 5, incumbent LaTonia Arris will be challenged by Clint Cheek

Bonham City Council Candidates:

Ward 2, incumbent John Trubey will be challenged by Tim LaVergne II

Ward 3, incumbent H. Compton will be challenged by Bill Carey

Ward 4, incumbent Jerry Gay will be challenged by Bill Chapman

Meet the Candidates Forum 2019:

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Location: Auxiliary Gym – Bonham High School

Early voting is set for April 22-April 30 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with extended voting hours of 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on April 25 and April 30.

Election Day is May 4 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
