Lower Illinois: December 17. Elevation normal, water 55 and cloudy. Trout fair on nymphs, PowerBait and small lures below the dam and Watts WMU. NORTHWEST
Canton: December 16. Elevation below normal, water 47 and clear. Crappie fair on jigs around brush structure and the dam. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.
Foss: December 18. Elevation 3/4 ft. below normal with gates closed, water lower 50s and clear. Striped bass hybrids good on slabs in deep water early mornings and following the birds. SOUTHEAST
Arbuckle: December 17. Elevation below normal, water 51-53 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, square bill crankbaits, jerk baits, jigs and spoons along creek channels, main lake, points and rocks. Crappie fair on minnows, jigs and spoons around brush structure, creek channels and main lake. White bass good on spoons along creek channels and main lake. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Blue River: December 19. Elevation normal, water 44 and clear. Trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait and spoons around points, rocks, sandbars and in deeper water below riffles and obstructions in current. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver and stinkbait in deeper pools. Stocked approximately 2,400 rainbow trout on December 12. Broken Bow: December 17. Elevation below normal, water 53. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs and crankbaits around brush structure, in the main lake, points and standing timber. Hugo: December 17. Elevation below normal, water 59 and murky. Largemouth, spotted and white bass slow on jerk bait, rogues and sassy shad around points and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and live shad below the dam, in the main lake and river channel. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around brush structure and standing timber. Konawa: December 18. Elevation normal, water 50 and clear. Elevation normal, water 50 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jerk baits and plastic baits in the main lake, around points and river channel. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on crankbaits, live shad and spoons in coves, the main lake and river channel.
