Bonham ISD Superintendent Public Forum set Aug. 28

Bonham ISD Superintendent Dr. Marvin Beaty will speak Monday, August 28, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. during a public forum hosted by the Fannin County Democratic Alliance and the Democratic Party of Fannin County. The forum will be held in the Elizabeth May Room of First United Bank in Bonham. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m.

The program will focus on the construction currently underway for BISD’s new high school ($30 million bond project), recent legislative decisions and their effect on BISD, and health insurance issues that will affect public education employees and retirees.

Although Dr. Beaty will discuss issues as they relate to BISD, the information he will present will be relevant to all Fannin County citizens and public schools.

A question and answer session will follow Dr. Beaty's presentation.  Please join us to learn more about Texas public education and the new Bonham High School currently under construction.
