Nick Capehart

Bonham, Texas -- A celebration of life for Nicholas "Nick" Capehart, 17, of Whitewright, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, Bonham, Texas. The family request that bright clothing be worn to honor Nick. Rev. Dwayne Evors, Rev. Brian Rayburn and Angela Rogers will officiate. Interment will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery, Bonham, Texas.

Nicholas Seth Capehart was born on May 30, 1998 in Galveston, Texas. He played basketball, track, and was a Bonham High School student council member. He was a member of Cheer Athletics in Plano; cheer and tumbling were his passion. Nick’s smile and personality were known to light up a room; he loved life and everyone in it, and never met a stranger. He was a member of the Living Word Church of God.

Nick is survived by parents, Jonathan and Sherry Capehart of Whitewright, TX; sister, Addison Capehart of Whitewright, TX; grandparents, Billy and Madaline Capehart of Bonham, TX; Deryl and Linda Bishop of Bonham, TX, and Paul and Joyce Phillips of Bonham, TX; aunts, Tracey Mason of Stephenville, TX, and Justine Reeves of Melissa, TX; cousins, Josh and Katy Lindsey of Stephenville, TX, Tristan Reeves of Sherman, TX, and Lauren Foreman of Trenton, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cameron Kyle Capehart.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryson Jones, Siren Price, Jacob Simpson, Aaron Anderson, Dawson Smith, Tyler Bennet, Tristan Reeves, Asante Lopez and Parker Hahn.

Family visitation will start at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, Bonham, Texas.
