Special Encore Fundraising Performance on New Year’s Eve

The Sherman Community Players are announcing the addition of a final performance of the holiday musical hit Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings; Plaid Tidings .

Plaid Tidings is the sequel to Forever Plaid, which SCP produced for their summer fundraising benefit. Plaid has a Branson style of entertainment to it, fun for people of all ages and backgrounds, including precise four-part harmony, comedy, and audience participation. 

“It’s a great time at the theatre!” exclaims Anthony Nelson.  "On Tuesday, December 31, the show will begin at 9:00 p.m. and afterwards we will be having basically a party in the reception room, where the Plaids will sing selected songs from the original, such as "Perfidia," "Cry," and "Sixteen Tons" — and in a more intimate setting." 

"There will be food, beverage, balloons—and all the fixings to ring in the New Year right, with Plaid style,” adds Nelson.

Can be purchased for this event beginning the week of December 16th through the SCP box office 903-892-8818, the cost will be $25.00.  The Box office is open from 10am – 2pm daily.
